•  Strong support The so-English-you-can-taste-the-fish-and-chips streetscape I was striving for with all those pictures I took in Macclesfield before Wikimania 2014. but never quite got (as much because it wasn't the thing that drew me there as anything to do with the town itself). So good is it I can overlook the slightly unnatural blue of the sky at top (one could, after all, argue that blue skies by themselves are unnatural in England, but whatever ... ), probably a result of some effort to suppress highlights.   • Yes, the sky does look a bit funny and it could be somewhat the result of highlights adjustments, but I think there was a bit of hazy blue sky peeking through the clouds. ;-) I'm glad you like the image - it is indeed a quintessential British cityscape, and Bath is one of the most architecturally homogenous cities in the UK, however, most sweeping views tend to be from high vantage points that don't really give you the sense of being there (like this one of mine). This nominated image has the advantage of offering an intimate street scene as well a broader view of it as an aesthetic, homogenous whole.
